Ms. Profota, the Founder & Clinical Director, has 22 years’ experience in the area of trauma & addictions—chemical dependence, sex and love addiction, dual diagnosis, codependence, financial disorders and trauma resolution. As a therapist and manager for Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) for 6 years, she facilitated trauma & grief resolution, relationships, family and parent groups. She initiated the sex and love addiction group curriculum and clinically managed the Memorial Hermann Counseling Center and the sober living component of the PaRC as well. She has trained with two of the premier therapists, educators, authors & trainers of trauma & addiction therapists in the world—Pia Mellody and Patrick Carnes, PhD. Ava is also trained in Brainspotting, the latest in the Brain-Based trauma interventions authored by David Grand, PhD
Damon Drandakis

Mr. Drandakis, one of our clinical associates, has practiced with Inner Loop for 5 yrs treating sex addiction, parental enmeshment and other developmental trauma. His specialty is working with mother-enmeshed men. He also worked at the Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center, one of the premier treatment centers in Houston and the state of Texas. Damon was trained in sex addiction by Patrick Carnes and has practiced as a sex addiction counselor for over 6 years. Damon is trained in the Pia Mellody post-induction model as well.
